Google One

Cloud storage and phone backup in one place

Google One is a productivity app for managing the storage linked to your Google Account and protecting important phone data. It brings together storage used by Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos, while also providing automatic backup options for Android devices.

Back up the essentials

The app can automatically save selected phone data, including photos, contacts and messages, using the storage included with your Google Account. If your phone is lost, damaged or replaced, those backups can help restore your information to another Android device.

Track and expand Google storage

Google One gives you a central view of how your account storage is being used across Google services. The standard Google Account allocation includes 15 GB. Users who need more room for photographs, documents, email and other files can choose a Google One membership with a larger storage allowance.

• Manage shared storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.
• Set up automatic backup for important Android phone data.
• Restore backed-up information when moving to a replacement device.
• Choose a larger storage plan when the included allowance is no longer enough.

Ratings with the numbers attached

Google One is published by Google LLC and listed in Productivity. Its score is 4.14 out of 5 from 839,807 reviews, alongside an install range of 1,000,000,000+. That review volume gives the rating considerably more context than a small handful of scores would, while the install figure shows that the app is used at very broad scale.
